"Lisod g’yud kay talagsa ra among trabaho, putol-putol pa g’yud. Kung wala mi ga-duty naa ra kos amoa magpundo hulat tawagon sa kompanya. Dili pod pwede na magpundo rami sa amoa kay wala mi makaon. Napugos g’yud kog trabaho karon kay wala man g’yud [pangsustento]. Dako kayo ni og apekto ang COVID-19 sa amoa kay wala g’yud mi ka pangandam, wala mi natigum, nakahulam-hulam paman gani mi.”
 
(Translation: It has been hard because we rarely work, and it gets interrupted. If we are not on duty we will have to wait for the company to call us. And we can't afford to just stay at home because if we do we will eat nothing. I was forced to work now because there were no supplies left for us. COVID-19 has greatly affected us because we were not prepared, we saved nothing, and we even had to borrow money.)
